Pope’s tweet invites Christians to contemplate face of Child Jesus

December 30, 2013 - In a tweet on the social media, Pope Francis on Monday invited Christians worldwide to worship God who manifested Himself in the Baby Jesus. “In the face of the Child Jesus we contemplate the face of God. Come, let us adore him!” the Pope wrote in a post on his Twitter account @pontifex. He has been reminding Christians that the Birth of Christ is not a fable or story, but God truly assuming our human nature in all its frailty and fragility.
