Reflecting on the Immaculate Conception

(Vatican Radio) Pope Francis on Sunday 8^th of December, Feast of the Immaculate Conception, is set to visit Rome’s Piazza di Spagna where like his recent predecessors to the See of Peter he will pray before an image of Mary.
This feast day provides us with an opportunity to focus on the figure of Mary and find out more about the dogma of the Immaculate Conception proclaimed by Blessed Pius IX.
