IOR names new general director

(Vatican Radio) The Board of Superintendence of the Institute for the Works of Religion (IOR) has appointed Rolando Marranci general director, as of 30 November.

His promotion from the post of deputy general director, a position he had assumed earlier this year, on 1 July, was approved by the Cardinals’ Commission.
