Pope appoints delegate to two finance commissions

(Vatican Radio) The Holy Father has appointed Monsignor Alfred Xuereb his delegate to the Pontifical Commission for Reference on the Organisation of the economic-administrative structure of the Holy See, a special commission to reform its economic and administrative departments and the commission overseeing the Institute for the Works of Religion, commonly called the Vatican Bank. Both commissions were set up by Pope Francis this year.

A Vatican Statement said that Monsignor Xuereb will be tasked with monitoring the committees and keeping him informed, in collaboration with the Secretariat of State, on their working procedures and possible initiatives.
