Pope receives Bahamas PM

Pope Francis on Monday received in private meeting Prime Minister Perry Gladstone Christie of the Bahamas. Christie later held talks with Vatican Secretary of State, Archbishop Pietro Parolin and Vatican Secretary for Relations with States, Archbishop Dominique Mamberti. The Vatican said during the ‘cordial talks’ the two sides touched upon the issue of migration and the contribution of the Catholic Church to the people, especially in the education sector, wishing closer collaboration in these fields.
