Dates announced for future meetings of Council of Cardinals

(Vatican Radio) The Press Office of the Holy See has released a note concerning the dates of future meetings of the Council of Cardinals, instituted by the Holy Father as an advisory body to assist him in the governance of the Church and reform of the Roman Curia. Upon conclusion of their discussions late Thursday, the Cardinals voted to meet again 3-5 December and in the month of February next year. The Press Office note reads that in this way the work of the Council, especially in this initial phase, will be able to proceed in an expedited manner.
