Pope arrives at Copacabana

The Pope has arrived on the seafront of Copacabana for the welcoming celebration of young people in Rio de Janeiro for the 28.ma World Youth Day. Tens of thousands greeted the Pope as he made his way to a specially constructed stage. Travelling his his white jeep the Holy Father kissed babies and even swoped his cap with a young person as he has done in the past in St Peter's Square. A number of young people made presentations and gave him gifts including at plant. The ceremony continues with music and a presentation where young people show of the best of Rio there "marvelous city".
