Pope John XXIII and Pope John Paul II to be canonised

(Vatican Radio) It has been announced that Blesseds Pope John Paul II, and Pope John XXIII are to be canonised.
No dates for the canonisation ceremonies have yet been immediately given.

Pope Francis approved a second miracle attributed to the John Paul II who was beatified in May of 2011.

The announcement of Pope John XXIII's canonisation comes just a month after the 50th anniversary of this death.
