I recently received a couple compliments on our broadcasts delivered to me by word of mouth through colleagues. One was from the mother of a 7 month old child who congratulated me on her baby’s response to hearing the Trio Lescano on Melodies & Memories Tuesday “Historical Recordings” feature, and to hearing Frank Sinatra on Wednesday. The second commendation was related to me by a colleague who told me that the musical programs on Vatican Radio are esteemed by a highly regarded intellectual from her circle.
