Mexico's President Elect is in Washington today for a White House meeting with incumbent
President Elect Barack Obama. Enrique Peña Nieto is due to be officially inaugurated
President of Mexico on Saturday. But he and key members of his team are today meeting
with President Obama, Vice President Joe Biden and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton
in the White House. Peña Nieto of the Institutional Revolutionary Party PRI, which
ruled Mexico for 71 years until 2000, is being described as the comeback kid by political
analysts. Key issues that he and his Team want to, and will discuss include: Mexico's
savage, raging ongoing Drug War, migration, Border security and labour. It's a bold
move by Peña Nieto to bridge the widening gap between Mexico City and Washington who've
become more distant neighbours. Nevertheless this new Administration is expecting
more progress to curb illegal gun running, which is arming Mexican drug cartels to
