The electoral campaign for President of the United States saw a major development
at the weekend, with Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney announcing the
choice of Wisconsin Rep. Paul Ryan to run with him as candidate for Vice President.
Romney, and Ryan are already on the campaign trail, having spent the weekend in North
Carolina - a battleground state in the November election - as part of a multistate
bus tour. Romney’s schedule sees him in Florida and Ohio as the week begins, while
