(Vatican Radio) There’s just a week to go until the Olympic games gets underway in
London. The Olympic flame on Saturday began a seven day tour of London commencing
at the Royal Greenwich Observatory. The torch arrived in the city in spectacular style
on Friday night , brought by a Royal Navy helicopter to .
Lydia O’Kane spoke
to the Catholic Co-Ordinator for the London 2012 Games, James Parker about the ongoing
preparations.
He says, “Overall (we are) very happy the way things are planning
out and the organisation that’s been happening as well.”
James Parker also
adds that on the Olympic venue there will be Mass three times a day and bible study
will also take place along with morning and evening prayer.
The Olympic Games
