Egypt's supreme court ruled yesterday to dissolve the Islamist-led parliament, while
also annuling a law which would have kept Mubarak’s last Prime Minister from contesting
a run-off election for president scheduled in two days.
The Muslim Brotherhood
said the court rulings indicated Egypt was heading into "very difficult days”.
For
demonstrators, the court descision is seen as a reversal of the revolution last year
which swept Hosni Mubarak from office last year.
