A new report by the International Labour Organisation or ILO shows that nearly 13%
of young people worldwide are out of work.The findings also reveal that their situation
is unlikely to improve for four years. Since 2007, the number of young people without
jobs has risen by four million and the ILO is calling on governments to make job creation
a priority. Jose Manuel Salazar-Xirinachs, executive director of the ILO's employment
sector says 75 million people are unemployed throughout the world. Listen
