Pope receives letters of credence from French ambassador
Pope Benedict XVI received Letters of Credence on Friday from France’s new Ambassador
to the Holy See, Bruno Joubert. Married with four children, the sixty-two year-old
Joubert is a career diplomat with a degree in political science from l'Institut d'Etudes
Politiques in Paris. His first assignment with the Foreign Ministry was as secretary
of the French embassy in Washington, DC (1978-1982). Joubert most recently served
as Ambassador to Morocco.
