Multiple bomb blasts late on Friday in Nigeria's second largest city Kano were coordinated
attacks on security targets that killed at least seven people. The Islamic Boko Haram
group claimed responsibility for the attacks, which prompted the government to announce
a dusk-to-dawn curfew in the city of more than 10 million people. Boko Haram is blamed
for scores of bombings and shootings, aimed mainly at government targets, Their attacks
