Cardinal-Designate Thomas Collins reacts to his nomination
Among the 22 churchmen whom Pope Benedict is raising to the rank of cardinal at a
consistory in February is Archbishop Thomas Collins of Toronto in Canada. Born in
1947, Archbishop Collins is only the 4th cardinal in the 110-year history of the Toronto
archdiocese. Susy Hodges spoke to Cardinal-Designate Collins shortly after the Pope's
announcement and asked him for his reaction:
