SIGNIS and the new media generation

The annual meeting of the Managing Board, of the World Catholic Association for Communication or SIGNIS concluded today in Rome. As well as bringing together traditional media such as television, cinema, and internet, the association is also embracing new media technology.
“We are concerned about making them (young people) see that they preserve their values”, says Delia Hernandez from the Philippines who is Secretary of SIGNIS and specializes in media education.
Speaking to Lydia O’Kane about how the association is engaging with young people in her country, she said it was a challenge and that is why it was important to get more teachers involved. Listen
