Interreligious conservation initiative gets underway in Assisi

Representatives of a dozen different churches and faith groups are gathered in Assisi this week for a meeting focused on the role of religious communities in protecting the environment. The three day conference is organised by the British based organisation ACT or Alliance of Religions and Conservation.
