The late Libyan dictator, Moammar Gadhafi, was buried at dawn today in a secret location
along with his son Muatassim and a top aide were buried at dawn Tuesday, with a few
relatives and officials in attendance. Reporter Gordon Martin was the BBC correspondent
in the Maghreb in 1969, when Gaddafi came to power. Gordon told Chris Altieri about
his death-defying attempt to reach Tripoli by charter plane in the immediate wake
of the takeover, his questions to Gaddafi at the dictator’s first press conference.
