The Bach Brothers got Latin schooling

You may already know that our popular "Latin Lover", Carmelite Father Reginald Foster adores music.

In this programme he shares with us his love for Schubert and Gounod's ' Ave Marias' and gets all teary eyed in the process.

Father Foster also speaks to us about German composer Johann Sebastian Bach and his brothers and raves about their schooling in Lutheran schools.

Finally he touches on the loss of Latin in the Church following the Second Vatican Council.
