Four years ago on September 14th 2007 Pope Benedict 's Motu Proprio document was
implemented that relaxed the restrictions on celebrating the old rite of the mass
that was in use prior to the reforms that came out of the Second Vatican Council.
Father Joseph Kramer is priest of a personal parish in Rome that celebrates mass according
to the traditional latin rite. He speaks to Susy Hodges about how it has slowly but
steadily grown in popularity since that date and about the reasons why the people
who attend his mass prefer the old rite.
