Archbishop Nichols: Witness to faith at WYD
Amongst the hundreds of Church leaders attending World Youth Day in Madrid is the
Archbishop of Westminster Vincent Nichols, head of the bishops conference in England
and Wales. He's leading a group of 121 young men and women from his own diocese, but
earlier in the week he also gave one of the catecheses for an international audience.
As our correspondant Emer McCarthy found out, he chose to speak on the theme of Christian
witness in contemporary society. He also told Emer what impact the World Youth Day
events are making on the young people from his own diocese....Listen:
