Young people and confession

Father Thomas Vassalotti is a priest from Brooklyn in New York City and will be among those dozens of priests (including Pope Benedict himself!) hearing confessions from young people at the World Youth Day event in Madrid on Saturday morning. He spoke to us about the origins and importance of the sacrament of reconciliation and the reasons why young people nowadays often either shun or fear going to confession.
