Singing for the pope

The climax of the 6-day World Youth Day gathering will be Sunday's closing mass celebrated by Pope Benedict at the Cuatro Vientos airport near Madrid. Israel Lozano is a renowned opera singer and tenor from Madrid who will be singing a number of solos at this papal mass. Emer McCarthy caught up with him whilst he was rehearsing with the choir and orchestra in the run-up to this event. Lozano has a busy schedule of performing engagements all over the world but told Emer that he postponed some of his planned concerts because he wanted "to be part of this occasion."
