The Millennium Development Goals report for 2011 is released
The Millennium Development Goals report for 2011 was released on Thursday afternoon. Launching
the findings in Geneva the UN Secretary General Ban-Moon said there have been greet
strides made in reaching the goals.
But he added that the most vulnerable were
being left behind.
“In the report we try to highlight how important it is to
ensure equal access by women and girls to all services especially education and healthcare”,
says Francesca Perucci, the lead editor of the report.

that the achievement of the MDG’s depends largely on women’s empowerment and achieving
