Special Papal Envoys
(July 02, 2011) The Vatican announced on Saturday three special papal envoys nominated for three different occasions, Cardinal Jozef Tomko Special Papal envoy for the concluding ceremonies of the 600th jubilee year of the Eucharistic Miracle of Ludbreg in Croatia, Cardinal Giovanni Battista Re to represent the Holy Father at the 25th Italian National Eucharistic congress to be held at Ancona on Italy’s eastern Adriatic coast from the 3rd to the l11th September; and thirdly Cardinal Renato Raffaele Martino as Papal legate to the Millennium celebrations of the Abbey of the Most Holy Trinity of Cava in the southern Campania region of Italy, due to be held on 4th September.
