30th CBCI General Body Meeting 2012

(June 01, 2011) The 30th General Body Meeting of the Catholic Bishops Conference of India , CBCI is scheduled to be held from 1-8 February, 2012 at St John’s National Academy of Health Sciences, Bangalore, Karnataka State. The theme for the meeting is “The Church’s Role for a Better India”. The General Body Meeting of the CBCI is held once in two years. At every such general meeting, a particular theme of relevance to the Church and nation is discussed by the leaders of the Church.
The Regional Bishops Councils, National Commissions, National Institutes and the Catholic Religious of India, present reports on their activities and major thrusts during the meeting.
