(11 Aug 10 - RV) The United Nations is appealing for $459 million to provide immediate
help to millions of flood victims in Pakistan.
The U.N. Office for the Coordination
of Humanitarian Affairs said «the worst monsoon-related floods in living memory» has
affected more than 14 million people and at least six or seven million require immediate
humanitarian assistance.
