President Aquino Gives First State of the Nation Address in Philippines

(26 Jul 10 - RV) Philippine President Benigno Aquino gave his first state of the nation address on Monday after winning presidential elections in May.

In his speech Aquino said the government would stop wastage of public money in infrastructure and other government deals.
