Pope Benedict Returns to Rome after Visit to Malta
(19 April 10-RV) Pope Benedict XVI is resting this morning, after a brief, but intense
trip to the island of Malta to mark the 1950th anniversary of the shipwreck
of St. Paul the Apostle on Maltese shores. After open air Mass on Sunday morning in
Malta’s Granary Square and a poignant, private meeting at the papal Nunciature with
Maltese victims of clerical sexual abuse, Pope Benedict met with the young people
