የኢትዮጵያ ካቶሊካዊት ቤተክርስቲያን ለፖላንድ ህዝብና መንግስት የሀዘን መግለጫ መልዕክት አሰተላለፈች

የኢትዮጵያ ካቶሊካዊት ቤተክርስቲያን የፖላንድ ፕሬዝዳንትና ሌሎች ዜጎች በአውሮፕላን አደጋ ህይወታቸውን ማጣታቸው እጅግ ያሳዘናት መሆኑን ሚያዝያ 5 ቀን 2002 ዓ.ም ከቀትር በኋላ አዲስ አበባ በሚገኘው የፖላንድ ኤምባሲ በመገኘት ባስተላለፈችው የሃዘን መግለጫ አስታውቃለች፡፡

በሃዘን መግለጫው የተሳተፉት ብፁዕ ሊቀጳጳሳት ጆርጅ ፓኒኩለም የቫቲካን አምባሳደር በኢትዮጵያ፣ ብፁዕ አቡነ ብርሃነየሱስ ሊቀጳጳሳት ካቶሊካውያን ዘኢትዮጵያ፣ ብፁዕ አቡነ ተሰፋስላሴ የአዲግራት ሃገረስብከት ጳጳስ፣ ክቡር አባ ሐጎስ ሐይሽ፣ ክቡር አባ ኃይለገብሬል መለቁ የኢትዮጵያ ካቶሊካዊት ቤተክርስቲያን ጠቅላይ ጽ/ቤት ጠቅላይና ረዳት ጠቅላይ ጸሀፊና ክቡር አባ አበራ ገ/ማርያም የልደታ ማርያም ካቶሊክ ካቴድራል ቆሞስ ናቸው፡፡

እግዚአብሄር የሟቾቹን ህይወት በጌታ ዘንድ በሰላም እንዲያሳርፍና ለቤተሰቦቻቸውም መጽናናትን እንዲሰጣቸው እንመኛለን

We have learnt the tragic and shocking plane crash that took the lives of President Lech Kaczynski, the First Lady, and many top officials of the Polish Republic with great sorrow.

On behalf of the Catholic Bishops Conference of Ethiopia and myself, I express to you our condolences.

We sincerely express our deep union in prayer with the families of the victims and with all the people of Poland who are mourning the death of their beloved President, the First Lady and all the others on board.

We the Catholic Bishops and the faithful entrust all those who died to the Lord’s mercy.

May our Lord, through the maternal intercession of The Blessed Virgin Mary, welcome all who died into his Kingdom of Peace and Light.
