Cyclone Strikes Villages in Northeastern India
(14 April 10-RV) A cyclone struck several villages in northeastern India, killing at least 89 people and demolishing over 50,000 mud huts. The cyclone struck last night in parts of West Bengal and Bihar states. The Head of Department at Caritas India, John Peter Nelson, told us more about the extent of the damage:
