Ending Violence Against Women in Afghanistan

(RV - 19 March 10) The Attorney General of Afghanistan and the International Development Law Organization have officially launched the specialized Violence Against Women Unit within the Attorney General's office.

The unit, which includes nine prosecutors, will enforce the new law on the elimination of violence against women.
