Rocky Road to Peace in Darfur

(26 Feb 10 - RV) A Darfur rebel group accused the Sudanese army yesterday of attacking its positions on the same day that the president declared the Darfur war over.
Meanwhile, the U.N. Security Council is welcoming the truce between Darfur's most powerful rebel
group and the Sudanese government and urging all other rebel groups to join the peace process. We spoke to the Apostolic Administrator of El-Obeid in the diocese of Darfur, Bishop Antonio Menegazzo about the prospects for peace in the region.
