Quality not Quantity in Catholic Education, says Cardinal Brady

the theme of a week in support of Catholics education in Ireland launched today,
The
aim of the week is to celebrate the contribution that Catholic primary and post-primary
schools make not just to Irish society, but to the mission of the Church.
There
are 3,500 Catholic Schools in Ireland, however in recent times there has been increased
public debate over the Churches involvement in education, particularly at primary
level.
We spoke to Cardinal Sean Brady Primate of All Ireland about these concerns
and how the Church is addressing them:
