Pope Praises Pioneers of Edinburgh Conference

(25 Jan 10 - RV) At his general Audience this week and again at his Sunday Angelus, Pope Benedict spoke of the one hundredth anniversary of Missionary Conference of Edinburgh in Scotland, which is seen by many as a defining event for the birth of the modern ecumenical movement.
