Interview with the Archbishop of Canterbury, Rowan Williams
(21 Nov 09 - RV) Pope Benedict XVI on Saturday morning met privately with the Archbishop
of Canterbury, Rowan Williams. During the talks, the two men elaborated on the challenges
face by all Christian communities at the beginning of this millennium, and the need
to encourage forms of collaboration and common witness when addressing them. They
also spoke about recent events which have affected relations between the Catholic
Church and Anglican Communion, and reaffirmed their common will to continue and strengthen
