is taking place this week in New Orleans, Louisiana, where in 2005 Hurricane Katrina
devastated the city. Ecumenical Patriarch Bartholomew and Church leaders in the
United States are listening to a range of scholars, and discussing a common catholic
approach to ecological crises and ways to meet the challenges that affect water systems
