European Day Against Human Trafficking is Marked

(18 Oct 09 - RV) Today is the European day against human trafficking.
Recently the International Union of Superiors General sponsored a Conference focusing on this issue.
The meeting looked at new ways to strengthen international cooperation among the hundreds of women’s religious orders across the world.
Present at the Conference was Nigerian born Sister Patricia of the Order of Saint Louis who since 2007  has made it her mission to fight against the trafficking of women for sexual exploitation.
Veronica Scarisbrick spoke to Sister Patricia about her work...
