Anti-Abortion Rally Takes Place in Madrid

(17 Oct 09 - RV) A march is underway in the city of Madrid this evening in response to the Spanish government’s decision to liberalise the country’s abortion laws. The march called “Every Life Matters” is being supported by the Spanish Bishops Conference and also brings together 40 religious and civil groups. Lydia O’Kane spoke to Rome-based Spanish Priest Father Javier Ruiz who says this is not the first march to be held on this heated issue.
