Pope Benedict XVI Plans European Visits
(24 Sept 09 - RV) Pope Benedict XVI will travel to the Marian shrine at Fatima, in Portugal, in May of next year.The Director of the Holy See’s Press Office, Jesuit Fr. Federico Lombardi, confirmed the Holy Father plans to preside over religious celebrations in the Marian Sanctuary on May 13th, the anniversary of the first Marian apparition at Fatima.
Meanwhile, Pope Benedict XVI is planning an Apostolic voyage to England next year.
