(7 Sept 09 - RV) This past Sunday afternoon, Pope Benedict was in the town of Bagnoregio,
the birthplace of St. Bonaventure, a 13th century Franciscan theologian
who became minister general of his order, and cardinal bishop. Pope Benedict celebrated
him as a messenger of hope, a model of the Christian intellectual and an inspiration
to all those who, in the present day, would work to raise appreciation of and guarantee
