Christians Prepare for 2012 Olympics

(27 Jul 09 - RV) It is exactly 3 years until the Olympic games begins in London, but already preparations are well underway.

Recently the Christian Churches Olympic and Paralympics charity “More than Gold” gathered in the British capital to plan for the event.

Around 300 Christian Leaders from every denomination, as well as Christian agency and missionary organisations began the task of working together to mobilise volunteers, and organise prayer groups and cultural events in the lead up to and during the games.
