(11 July 09 – RV) Pope Benedict XVI is beginning his last full day of appointments before his departure Monday for three weeks vacation in Lorenzago, Italy. Yesterday, the Holy Father welcomed US President Barack Obama in an audience here at the Vatican, the first meeting between the two men since President Obama’s election last November.
