Religious Sisters Speak Out Against Human Trafficking
(12 June 09-RV) Religious sisters say they will not remain silent about the horrors
of human trafficking. Here in Rome this week, the International Union of Superior
Generals of women religious and the International organization for migration are holding
their annual conference on combating human trafficking. Many orders of women religious
have been silently working against this phenomenon for years. Veronica Scarisbrick
spoke with Nigerian Sister Patricia of the Order of St Louis, who will address the
