Assisting Refugees in Burma

(06 June 09 - RV) The human rights group Christian Solidarity Worldwide said more than 1,200 Karen villagers in temporary camps along Burma’s border with Thailand have fled over fears the government was planning to launch attacks.

Karen Malinowsa is the spokesperson for CSW. She said the situation for refugees is very serious.
