sanctions on Myanmar over its treatment of opposition leader Aung San Suu Kyi,
faced trial today and risks up to five years in jail after an intruder broke into
her home. Myanmar's military says she broke the terms of her house arrest and has
ignored international outrage at what critics call trumped-up charges against the
noble peace prize winner whose term of detention had been due to expire on May 27
