(19 Mar 09 - RV) Pope Benedict XVI continues his Apostolic voyage to Africa today,
with the high point of this first leg of the trip in Cameroon.
Later
today, the Holy Father shall present the Instrumentum Laboris – the working document
of the upcoming 2nd Special Assembly of the Synod of African Bishops, at
a special Mass in the Capital Yaoundé.
Before the Mass, the Pope is scheduled
to meet with representatives of Cameroon’s Muslim community at the Nunciature.
Yesterday
evening, Pope Benedict prayed Vespers at Yaounde’s Minor Basilica of Mary, Queen of
the Apostles.
