Africa Awaits its Pope
(06 Mar 09 -RV) There is now little over one week to go to Pope Benedict XVI’s first trip the African Continent.
On March 17th the Pope will arrive in Cameroon the first of 2 west African Nation’s he plans to visit during the 6 day Apostolic Voyage.
Vatican Radio’s Festus Tarawaille will be travelling with Pope Benedict.
He spoke to Fr. Sosthene Bayemi Eseka of Cameroon, who is on the organising committee for the Holy Father’s voyage:
